CMS Members can't rate articles

***First, I searched the forum here and found others complaining of this issue but I didn't find anything about it being fixed. So I apologize if this is a monotonous post...


I'm running 4.0.2 suite and members are still unable to rate articles. (I noticed this back in Beta and basically forgot about it after gold)

It comes up as not having the permission to do so. I have CMS permissions for members set to "view" content and that's all. I do not have the permission set up for them to create content or edit others content. Does this disallow them from even being able to rate an article?


I checked CMS permissions and there is nothing specific about a "rating article" permission in there, I checked usergroup permissions and there is nothing in there to allow them to rate an article either, they do have permission to rate threads. So why can't they rate an article? Am I missing something?
