Connection to source server failed. Check username and password.

I have checked the forums and cant find any solution to the problem Im having.

I am trying to import PHPbb3 posts to a brand new VB4 forum. I have successfully installed ImPex (or so I thought) but when I go to the admincp and click the 'Import' button I get this error:

Connection to source server failed. Check username and password.

The phpbb3 forum is hosted on a different server than the Vbulletin. I have confirmed that BOTH servers allow incoming/outgoing remote mysql connections and confirmed it by logging in to an SSH session on the target machine, and connecting remotely to the source mysql database. I am successful at logging in to that database remotely via SSH.

Ive also confirmed that the username and password listed in the config file for impex is CORRECT

I am unsure as to why it is telling me to check username and password.

Nevermind. Problem solved by re-uploading ImpExConfig.php (although without having to re-edit it) __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
