Forum Rebuild attachment thumbnails hanging way too often

After moving attachments into the file system, rebuilding attachment thumbnails keeps hanging. The top of the page says:

"Building Attachment Thumbnails
If you receive a fatal error or if the process seems to hang, you will need to delete the last attachment listed on the screen then refresh this window."


So I follow the instructions, and within one or two attachments after refreshing, it hangs again. I've deleted 3 attachments this way and not sure if I want to keep doing it. Is it common for so many attachments in a row to need deleting? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
