Impex fails because of strict mode on new server

I have installed impex into my new vbulletin 4 forum and would just like to import the user accounts over from my old site which is running vbulletin 3.8.4

when i import the usergroups i get an error the same as this...

i am aware that the target server obviously does not like the empty string quotes for an integer field and this is due to the @@sql_mode being set to strict???

is there any other way around this or do i have to try and put the server in non strict mode?

FIXED: I used the SQL commands suggested in the thread mentioned above and then restarted the mysql server.


This allowed everything to be imported. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
