Forum BB Code Box size - strange behavior

When using BB code, the size of the box is small. Then if i hit Edit Post button and then save, the box size change to a bigger one. If i get out of the thread and then get in, the box is small again.

I'll post some code in here to see if the behavior can be duplicated here.
