I'm building a membership website at http://www.travelblogsuccess.com and I'm securing the site with software called DLGuard. I've been able to do this for all of the site by adding a required snipped of code to the Header WordPress file via FTP. http://www.travelblogsuccess.com/resources/forum To protect my vBulletin Forum as well, I need to add this code within the Header. I tried to do this via the Admin panel by going to the Style Manager and editing the header template (just adding the snippet of php code). It didn't work. I went to the DL Guard support forum, and this is the response I got: Quote: There seems to be three problems - if you go to your forum page, and then view the source code, you'll see around line 378 (just after the BODY tag) that there is: Code: Firstly, you're missing the variables at the start of those two lines. Second, it's not actually coming out at the top of the page - it looks like you'll need to find the file that is first run when displaying a page. At the moment it's outputting the code after the body tag when it should be the very first thing. And lastly, we can actually see the code - this means the code hasn't been executed on the server. What I'm guessing is hapening is the way you put the code into vBulletin, it's stripping some of the code out, and making it printable. You'll need to edit whichever file contains the overall page structure directly. This is usually the header file, but it sounds like this may be different for vBulletin? I looked around via FTP but I couldn't find a "header" file. I'm getting ready to launch my site soon, and this is a big security issue I need to resolve first! Thanks __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
