Forum Disabling CMS "Home" page

I'm thinking that I'd like to disable the CMS "home" page as mine is not working and I'm thinking that it might be better to just skip that section. The forums and blogs are the parts I'm most interested in.


I was expecting a place to "turn off" the "home" page in the CMS but I don't see one. Can you please tell me how I could disable the "home" page part of the system?
