Usergroups [Suggestion] Usergroups/Profile Fields

I want to be able to assign a profile field to a user group. On my forum I have customers and non-customers. I require that customers provide correct customer information before they are allowed to access the customer only boards.

When I create a profile field* I can make that profile field required but then it is required for all members* even those that are not customers. Members that are not customers don't like giving me personal information (for good reason).


I want to make these fields (customer name/address/phone/etc...) required but I want them to only apply to my customers usergroup. If someone is not in the customers usergroup they will not be required to provide this information. If they are promoted to the customers usergroup they will be required to enter this information to continue using the forum.

At the very minimum assign Profile Field Categories to a usergroup* and then any field in that group will follow those rules. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
