You say you will be supporting v3.8 until v4.2* which one of your techs has stated could be over 12 months away.

So - A possible solution to this whole mess* would be to offer (FOR A SMALL FEE) all expired owned license holders a way to "upgrade" to the v3.8 release* and get ALL v3.8 releases from now on.

My v3.8 owned license expires in April* and I would imagine* if you stick with the updates to v3.8 until v4.2* the last version of 3.8 wont be released by then.

I wont be upgrading to v4* I don't like the way you have done it* stabbing existing clients in the back* therefore* I wont be a part of it. The only way you will get more money out of me* is if you offer that v3.8 upgrade fee for old owned license holders.

vB; think about it in another lite - if you DO offer this* I will be safe in the fact that I can use vB v3.8 for the next year or so* while you are still providing updates* instead of switching to IPB now* or when my license expires.

It's all about keeping your customers happy* a lecture you must have missed in business school* and for something that may get you some money from people like me* who wont upgrade at the moment* it might make them upgrade in the future. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
