Closing the where's the demo thread isn't going to help you

8 years I've been using Vbulletin; I'm not just some crybaby user. I'm your *target market* for your new upgrade.

So one of you pops in* says thanks for the feedback* and closes the pre-sale thread. Not a smart move. You can shut down discussion here* sure* but you're just going to push it all off your site* where you can't control it at all* or offer official feedback. I'm not guessing that will happen* I'm guarenteeing it.


Offering it at a "significant discount" but only if you buy it sight-unseen is a bad offer for anyone* new customer or long time user* I'm sorry but it just is. Value is perceived* not dictated. It's only a significant discount if we think it's worth the list price in the first place and how are we to determine that?

You should really close this thread* and reopen the other one. You're going to want to have at least one thread for people to discuss this here or it's going to spiral right out of your control.
