Lost 340$ and still can't buy Vbulletin License

About 1.5 year ago, I buy 1 website from 1 person. After bought this site, I knew that the old admin use Vbulletin Null and he had used hacked cc to buy license.

After knew that, I used my money (160$) to buy Vbulletin License but Vbulletin Company refused to sell. They say that I must remove the code in my site if I want to get back my money. I can’t do that, right? The site cost me a lot of money so I can’t throw it away!!! And I lost 160$.
Past few months, my friend said that he can persuade Vbulletin to sell license for me. And I give him 180$ to buy the license. Guess what? They refused again, and I lost 180$.
So, I lost 340$...

Is there really no way for me to buy Vbulletin License in my life??
