Changing from SMF to vbulliten...

Hello!
I plan on making the switch soon to vbulliten. I am currently running SMF and want to import my forum.

I understand this is supported but I cant figure out how it works.... Do I need to do it at time of install? This is how I hope I can do this....


1. Install vbulliten into a different folder than SMF.
2. Skin vbulliten and possibly install approved mods (this could take a while - I am new at this and want to make it unique to my business)
3. Import SMF data into vbulliten
4. rename main folder for SMF to oldforum
5. rename vbulliten folder to forum so users wont need to change shortcut
6. enjoy

Somehow I think I am making this toooooo easy. Usually I make things too complicated. Will this work?
