Forum won't load due to lack of eaccelerator.

The forum will not load with the following error:
[24-Jun-2009 0147] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/eaccelerator.so' - /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/eaccelerator.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0


Now I do see that this person is running 3.7.0 Beta 5 which makes me ask the question whether the license is even valid. If it is valid then I need to know what needs to be done to resolve this.

eAccelerator is not installed on the server, never has been, and likely never will be. I've tried adding this to the .htaccess of the forum:
php_flag eaccelerator.enable 0
php_flag eaccelerator.optimizer 0
