Strikes/Anti-Bruteforce DDos Attack Prevention

After having my forum DDossed today (and it is still going on now), I believe vBulletin developers should have thought about this sooner, as I am a new customer.

I think vBulletin should have an option similar to this:
"Prevent multiple pages loading per IP?"
"How many pages can per IP load at once?"
"How many seconds does there need to be in between each page load?"

That will stop DDos attacks on forums.
At the moment, I have a major one taking place. Every minute there are around 10 IPs joining the attack, and it is all from the same area.

If we have something like this, then this would prevent DDos attacks, as I am annoyed as I have my forum open for 2 days now.
