Renaming the word forum throughout the site

Hey,

I'm now attempting to rename the words forum and subforum to different things throughout the site. The word Forum should be renamed to the same thing throughout the site. For the purpose of this post we'll say "apple". However, it doesn't stop here. I also would need the subforums to be renamed but the catch is they'd have to be renamed to different things depending on what parent forum they belonged to. For example, under the parent forum "orange fruit" we would like the subforum to say "oranges" but under the parent forum "vegatables" we'd like the subforum to read "lettuce."


Sorry if I confused things with my grocery store analogy just thought it'd help explain the situation.
