Changing Index and edit welcome page

I would like to know how to remove Powered by Vbulletin in the index. But not touch the copyright. And I also have suspicions that this is how the hackers fine all the forum. Buy the way there is spamming software you can buy and it dose searches on all the vbulletins out there. So I believe anybody that did not remove the index title there are the once that fall victim. I had my forum up only a week then I got hit.



One question if anybody could help out on this . On the mane page you have a welcome window with the FAQ and it disappears after you log in. do you know where I can edit this I tried to fine it in the language but with no luck __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
