*Server Too Busy*

I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with a problem that I am having? For the past few weeks, I have received numerous complaints from members about receiving a vbulletin server too busy notice.


The message actually appears in a VBulletin box and says:-

"VBulletin Message
The Server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later"

Sometimes it can last for hours, and in one case it lasted for a whole day. The strange thing is that other members can be in the forum posting just fine and dandy, while others are getting the busy message. Also, members receiving the message in the forum, can still access our shop, gallery and blog. I have contacted my hosts about this several times. They have checked through the logs and have even checked while the problem is happening. They have advised me that the problem is not with them, but rather with the program that I am running (VB).

We have a huge site event happening this weekend and I am more than a little worried as the problem is ocurring more and more frequently. Any advice on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated!!
