Can I just migrate part of the database ?

Hi,
I started with Vbulletin 3.7 and then I upgraded to the new vbulletin version/themes/plugins etc as the new versions kept coming. In the process, the code and database has got messed up and I get some errors as well due to old deleted plugins etc.

In the process of revamping my site, I bought a new theme today and I was thinking is it possible to do a fresh installation of Vbulletin 3.8 with this theme. Then from the old database just retrieve the user and post information?? Like just copying the data from the tables necessary and putting them into the new database. I don't have many active users, so losing some pieces won't hurt much.


Please let me know if this is something possible. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
