Customizing List of Users to Email

Hello,

I would like to send an email to a large amount of members that have not visited some forum in quite some time. I know you can use the Users -> Send Email to Users option, select all applicable usergroups and enter the date the last activity must be before, but I do not want to send an email to everyone that meets this criteria. For example, there are some people I know left the site on less than pleasant terms. Short of temporarily moving these users to a new usergroup and sending the email, is there any way to send an email without including some users that match the criteria you enter?
