Forum Subforum Bubbles Help Please

As you can see in my attached image I was able to change my forum icons by making the hearts, putting them in a folder and uploading the folder to my server. Then in the forum manager, in Style Options/Prefix for Forum Status Images I just entered /hearts/ which was the name of the folder I uploaded. All that worked perfectly.

The problem is the subforum icon. It is showing an X right now because I also have /hearts/ on that one. If you click on the parent forum the icon for it's subforum shows fine. It's just the subforum icon on the forum home page as shown that I can't figure out.

So, instead of the tiny speech bubble, how can I put a tiny heart instead? I just want it on the forum home page not on the page for the subforum when you click it's parent forum.

Can someone help me with this, please?
