Forum Changing url of forum/links

I know how to change the url and move the entire software over to a different domain/subdomain.

However, is there ANY way of making any links in threads/posts/site be able to switch to the new urls when clicked, without manually adding them?

I ask, because I am in the process of making my site more like a social network, instead of just like a forum, is why I ask.


If this cannot be done, then I will leave it all how it is.

In one of the threads I started in the last few days, I thought that one of the posters mentioned a way to do this in their signature, but now I cannot find it. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
