Automated Script to Optimize/Repair tables

Does vBulletin have any automated script to optimize and/or repair tables that gets activated occasionally and/or because of some event?

If so, I would like to get more details about it. Does it only try to do something with the vBulletin tables or does it try to do something with all the tables in the given database?

I had such a script running, locally initiated, yesterday around 4 PM and was running for around 16 hours, until we started getting "too many connections" error emails and our web hosting company had to restart MySQL server to clear that up. We ourselves absolutely have no such script for any of our code outside of vB. I myself didn't do any repair table or maintenance or anything like that using admin CP.


I am using 3.8.1 Patch Level 1. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__
