Does anyone know of a way to get a browser to cache image attachments from the CMS (or anywhere for that matter)? I just think it's a waste of bandwidth to not cache any of the article images that show up in the articles and on the front page. I feel like I've seen a thread about this before but can't seem to find it. If I remember correctly, there was a funamental design issue that prevented the images from being able to be cached and would not likely change - likely because the browser has to go through a PHP file to get the actual image. Anyway, if anyone can shed some light on that it would be appreciated. As an aside, if the above isn't possible, it would be nice to automatically generate a small thumbnail for the front page preview image instead of just resizing an existing image that could be large. Or at least be able to specify a separate image as the preview image and not have it actually appear in the article. __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
