I am in a situation where a dozen bloggers want to consolidate into one site and integrate with my forum. The problem is it has to happen asap. These guys have thousands of dedicated followers.

I am not familiar with WP, what would it offer beyond the blogging system in the Suite?

I have searched WP in the forum, and the most compelling argument against the Suite is the comment system for blog articles.

Is it possible to make the blogs appear on the home page without promoting the blogs to articles? So the site functions like WP? I came across a post that suggested you could do this with 4.04, but it was not really clear.

Any opinions/info/experience on this situation would be greatly appreciated.
