Forum Reply to Thread button woes
 

I know we're told that it's always been where it is now but I've read threads here complaining about it and now I'm getting complaints as well:

I have had several problems with the "Reply to Thread" button:
Clicking that button to start a reply does nothing more than move the cursor to the Quick Reply space below the button, so the button is useless, but it is actually worse than worthless. After typing a long reply into the Quick Reply box and reading it to be sure it was ready to submit, I have all too often then clicked the "Reply to Thread" button to submit my reply. Poof!! My reply is gone in a puff of smoke, and my cursor is put back into the now empty Quick Reply box where my carefully typed reply once was. If the "Reply to Thread" button was deleted, then I would just type my reply directly into the Quick Reply box, and click the Post Quick Reply to submit my reply. Can any of the Mods make the worse than worthless "Reply to Thread" button disappear forever? Thanks!
