Admin CP [REQ] Allow Plugins To Be Overwritable if Product Name & Plugin Name Match
 

When importing a plugin XML file, please consider adding an option so that the user can elect to overwrite an existing plugin that is associated to the same product & same plugin name as is defined in the XML file being imported.

From an add-on makers perspective, this would allow us to issue plugin updates pretty easily instead of the current methods. Right now if you import a plugin it will always create a new plugin regardless of whether there is already of a copy of that plugin already installed with the same name for the same product. If that behavior was changed then we could release plugin updates for minor changes instead of having to re-release the entire product XML or having the users copy & paste the changes into the plugin editor.
