large image upload timeout
 

Album upload times out with multiple large images. Users tend to be uploading marketing images which by nature are oversized and without a lot of compression. Think 4000x2000 pixles at .jpg 10. The upload chokes after several minutes and returns an http error 500. Uploads are choking on about 30-40mb of data but I need that threshold to be more like 100MB.

(Side question: Vbulletin is resizing images down and saving as JPG. I'm assuming its not storing the original full quality image anywhere as my database is not THAT big. Is this assumption correct?)

I've got the following in my php5.ini and its not helping:
memory_limit = 256M
post_max_size = 100M
file_uploads = On
upload_max_filesize = 100M
max_execution_time = 2000
upload_tmp_dir = /tmp
max_input_time = 2000

This issue is occuring with VB 3.7.2. Is this behaviour just a limitation of HTTP upload? Is there a solution? Is this php or mysql related? Or is it down to a problem with the webhost (godaddy)?
