limiting permissions to view forum content
 

My trial and error isn't going very well.

How do I make it possible for a usergroup to see a forum title* but not be able to click on and enter the forum?

So they know the forum is there. But they can't "enter" it and see the list of sub-forums.

Admin CP > Forums & Moderators (or Usergroups) > Forum permissions
went to forum name
selected usergroup below that forum
put all to "no" except the top one* "Can View Forum"

The test usergroup member is still able to click on the forum and "enter" it* seeing the sub-forums. I'd like to block that* just let them see the forum title on the main page. They can't see the threads* but I don't even want them to "enter" the forum* if that is possible.
