Search advanced search questions
 

I may be missing something ... but the 3.8 advanced search was far easier to use* much better layout. Is the advanced search in the version we are viewing now the final* or still under development?

Also* I am greatly missing the option to filter the search to specific forums. Without it the search is honestly of less help. To see if a couple of 4.x questions had already been addressed I did a search ... but so many non 4.x replies came up for those words* I didn't even bother looking beyond the first page. The tag cloud didn't have it.

In 3.8 I liked almost all the options being available on one view with almost no scrolling.

I do like the addition of Search Type - nice* thank you.
