User Interface contacts & friends
 

The profile privacy dropdown has selections for "Your Contacts" and "Your Friends."

But in the actual profile I could only find "friends and contacts*" only one list* not two. Can someone clarify vb 4 "friends" and "contacts?"

I had hoped that there were now 2 lists. As has been posted by others in the 3.8 sub-forum* for most people it is not possible to refuse a request to be a "friend" without damaging social connections on the forum. So "friends" turned out not to be the selected group that could be used to limit blog viewing and so forth. Was hoping that perhaps "contacts" was the second group that could be both more private and more select - not displayed on the public profile view.
