يستنكر البرنامج العربى لنشطاء حقوق الإنسان ماقامت به سلطات مطار القاهرة من منع الناشطة البحرينية " مريم الخواجة " من دخول الأراضى المصرية يوم الأحد الموافق26/8/2012 بحجة إنها على قوائم الممنوعين من الدخول وترحليها لكوبنهاجن .

حيث قامت قوات الأمن بمطار القاهرة بإحتجاز " مريم الخواجة " بعد وصولها لمطار القاهرة فى الرحلة القادمة من بيروت حيث قام مراقب الجوزات – على حسب تغريدتها على تويتر- بالختم على تأشيرة دخولها وأثناء مغادرتها للمطار إستوقفها رجال شرطة المطار وطالبوها بالعودة مرة أخرى و تم إحتجازها فى مكتب الأمن بالمطار و تم توجيه بعض الأسئله لها و رفضت الإجابه عليها وبعد ذلك أخبروها أنه لا يمكنها دخول مصر بموجب قرار من جهه أمنية – حيث تم وضع إسمها على قوائم الممنوعين من الدخول على الرغم أنها تحمل جواز سفر دنماركى ودخلت مصر كمواطنه دنماركية – وطالبوها بالتوقيع على وثيقه لا تعرف محتواها فرفضت و طلبت معرفه سبب منعها من الدخول ولكن دون جدوى .

وقامت قوات الأمن بإحتجازها داخل مكتب الأمن حتى تم إصطحابها إلى البوابة لترحيلها على الرحله المغادرة إلى كوبنهاجن .

والجدير بالذكر أنها ليست المرة الأولى التى تتعرض لها " مريم الخواجة " إلى مضايقات الأمن حيث أنه تم منعها من الدخول فى إبريل 2012 ولكن بعد ضغط عدد من منظمات المجتمع المدنى وتنظيم وقفه إحتجاجية أمام مطار القاهرة سمح لها بالدخول .

وتلك الأفعال تعود بمصر بعد ثورة الخامس والعشرين من يناير مرة أخرى إلى عهد الدولة البوليسة التى يتحكم فيها الأمن ويتم الإعتداء على الحقوق والحريات بإسم الأمن وحماية النظام وليس الدولة فكيف تعامل ناشطة حقوقية بالطريقه التى يعامل بها مرتكبى الجرائم فهل أصبح التعبير عن الرأى جريمه وخطر على الدولة .

و يعد ذلك التصرف مخالفا لنص المادة "12- 13" من العهد الدولى الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية .

ويطالب البرنامج العربى السلطات المصرية الوقف الفورى عن تلك الأفعال التى من شأنها تقييد الحريات والحقوق والسماح للناشطة " مريم الخواجة " من دخول الأراضى المصرية دون أى مضايقات

Egypt is still a Police State
Prevention of the Bahraini Activist Mariam El-Khawaga from Entering Egypt

The Arab Program for Human Rights Activists denounces the behavior of Cairo airport authorities of the prevention of the Bahraini activist Mariam El-Khawaga from entering Egypt on Sunday 26/08/2012, under the pretext that she is on the list of who barred from entering Egypt and they deported her to Copenhagen.

The Security forces at Cairo airport have detained Mariam El-Khawaga upon her arrival at the Cairo airport on the flight came from Beirut. According to her words on Twitter, the official of the airport has stamped on her visa to enter the country and while she was leaving, the airport police stopped and asked her to return back. Then, El-Khawaga has been detained in the security office at the airport and asked some questions but she refused to answer, then they told her she could not enter Egypt by a decision taken by security body- where her name has been put on the lists barred from entering despite she is carrying a Danish passport and has Danish citizenship. They asked to sign on a document that she didn't know its content, but she refused and asked to know why the prevention from entering Egypt, but no one answered her.

It is worth mentioning that it is not the first time Mariam El-Khawaga exposed to security harassment where she had been prevented from entering Egypt in April 2012, however, after pressure of the civil society organizations and the organization of a protest in front of the Cairo airport, she was allowed to enter.

The Arab Program for Human Rights Activists regards such acts after the revolution of the 25th of January are retreating Egypt to the era of the Police State where the security controls and rights and freedoms are attacked by the name of security and the protection of the regime, and not the state, how to deal with a human rights activist in the same way that treats offenders. Does expression become an offense and a threat to the State?
Furthermore, APHRA considers those acts in contrary with Articles 12 - 13 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

In this context, the Program demands the Egyptian authorities to immediately stop all such acts that restrict freedoms and rights and to allow the activist Mariam El-Khawaga to enter the Egyptian territory without any harassment.
