I have never had one problem with this iron, I've had it chi flat iron for over three years now and use it regularly in the salon! This iron leaves the hair silky smooth and the style lasts till the next day, unlike other irons that claim to do the same job, this iron really produces results. I love CHI products and give them all a five star rating. Its good for people with thin hair. My hair is thick and coarse so it doesnt work that great for me. If your hair is also thick and curly then i really dont recomend this iron. My hair gets fairly straight from using it but it just doesnt look healthy and shiny. ANd my ends loock terrible when i straighten my hair with the CHI!!! It really damages your hair if you have coarse hair in the first place. If you have fine hair then this would be a good product. Being a hair stylist...its on all day. And they take a hell of a beating...i have dropped mine on the marble floor at least 100 times and it is still in perfect condition...except for a couple of scratches. It would never "fry" anyones hair if people had the right knowledge as to how to use them. Don't know how.....ask a stylist! I highly recommend them for EVERY HAIR TYPE. always use a heat protectant first! they are simply the best and can not be beat!
