Registration Issue with Bots.....
 

Sorry for the post here relative to software, version 2.4.8 Patch Level 2 but, I did not see any other option......

I am getting a lot of bouncs for e-mail validation on incorrectly, or bogus, addresses submitted by Bots.

To what extent will upgrading to the latest version of vBulletin eliminate this problem?

Also, I read once that substituting Font Names in the Captcha process was a temporary fix to eliminate or at least, deter, improper registration attempts by Bots. Is this option still viable and if so, can you point me to a link on that topic?
