منتدى استراحات زايد - Latest on Mohammed Al Mughni, who had disappeared since 22/7/2012

Mohammed Al Mughni (from AlAker, a father of 1) has been arrested since Sunday, 22nd of July... upon arrival at Bahrain International Airport.

There were rumors being spread amongst social media accounts that he had martyred under torture, raising the family's concern over Mohammed who nor they or any lawyer had heard of for 9 days. Today, he called his family, reassuring them that he is... alive.

The authorities didn’t acknowledge that he is under their custody when his family asked for him in every police station, and he hasn’t even appeared in front of the Public Prosecution yet, violating the law that states he should've in the first 48 hours of his detainment.

After his arrest at the airport, the police raided and vandalized his house 3 times, once on the 23rd of July, 3:30 Am, during which they searched his room and stole his Laptop. The Second time was on the 24th, at 3:30 Am again, during which they searched his room once more and stole all his clothes, and 3 of his siblings' cars!! The last one to date was on the 26th of July, this time they stole his shoes.

We demand the release of Mohammed, who has certainly been tortured severely for absolutely no reason, and that those that committed this act of lying to his family and keeping him detained against the law are held accountable.
