A spokesman for the Navy's Bahrain-based 5th Fleet, Lieutenant Greg Raelson, said sailors aboard the "USNS Rappahannock" issued a series of warnings before resorting to lethal force using a machine gun. Authorities in the UAE are investigating the matter.
