On May 23, Ahmed flew from San Diego to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for a pilgrimage. From there, he flew to Bahrain, en route to Nairobi, Kenya where he was to see his father and get married. That is when the trouble started. 10News spoke with Ahmed last week.
