Help understanding e-mail notifications
 

I seem to be having trouble finding documentation related to forum/thread notifications. I am in the process of organizing my forum (not yet live). I know from experience on our current system that my members would prefer to get mostly daily notices that combine links to all posts during the past day for all forums.

Is it possible to get such a single e-mail? Or do you have to get one per thread, or one per forum, or one per category?

I'd appreciate advice and/or links to the appropriate documentation.
