Have vbulletin 3.8.2 (install before) and now i downloaded package with google advertisment (adsense)- and have questions

1. must i install again my board (upgrade)?
2. maybe just upload some files to get this adv. in admincp?

can you help me what to do and which files or which procedure is easiest way (will not lose my customizations) allredy have google on my templates - manualy add them!
