Installing modules with different group/user? Hi, I need some help with directory permissions. I am still using phpwebsite 10.2 and moved it to a different hosting company. Now everytime I install a module (in this case it was phpwsbb and the photoalbum) the directories are created with apache:apache for user and group. My problem started with phpwsbb not copying the icons to the new folder and I tried doing it manually, no such luck cause I dont have permission to change/delete/write the folder. Now I read some posts that sugessted uninstalling the module and creating the folder before installing the mod. But now phpwebsite tells "photalbum directory cannot be created", I even tried a 777 permission to make sure it has nothing to do with the read/write/execute permission. I never had that problem with my old hosting provider. I cant even access the apache:apache folder in plesk. Any suggestion is appreciated, this is driving me up the walls Thanks a bunch BenReilly |
