Uploading a special attachment file
 

Hi - I have the following requirement for Forum. Can someone let me know whether this requirement is doable using vBulletin?

I need a forum where users can upload an attachment file with a special extension (say file.qmap). Behind the scene, an activeX control runs on the server and automatically converts the file.qmap into file.jpeg. The Forum displays the post with file.jpeg and contains an attachment link to the original file.qmap so others can download file.qmap if they want. The file.qmap is a special file generated by our software and we want to promote the usage of our product and to make the posting workflow easy-to-use by automatically converting qmap into jpeg to encourage community participation. We will provide the activeX control. The question is whether vBulletin can accept this type of customizations. I'd appreciate any comments/pointers to this question. Thanks.
