300 Bahrainis protest against the bilateral union

Around 300,000 took to the streets in a huge rally on the outskirts of the capital Manama to protest against the bilateral union. The protest, which was organized by opposition parties alongside the youth organizations and village committees, stretched along more than 4.5km on Budaiya Street.

Protesters of different sects and political parties, considered the proposed union as an infringement to the sovereignty and independence of Bahrain, a matter that is exclusive to the Bahraini people to decide on, through self-determination according to all international treaties.

The people of Bahrain, once again prove that their patriotic revolution will go on until their rightful political demands are met.

The protesters also demonstrated their solidarity with prominent opposition figures refusing harassment practiced by the regime against all figures, particularly Sheikh Issa Qassim, the most popular religious and political leader in the country.
