Do I need to do maintenance for larg forum?
 

Hi

I don't know if this is the best forum to place my question,

I have a forum which have over 2m posts. it hosted in a big server but I still have some issues with mysql,
Do I have to do any thing to get a better performance ?
e.g. archive the old posts?
Or it should work fine regardless to the number of posts we have on the forum?
