According to "Reporters without Borders" report in January 2012, Bahrain declined 29 ranks in freedom of press, ranked 173 according to the press freedom rankings by the organization. It is because of what described as dealing violently against pro-democracy movements, continuing trials of activists, and eliminating more spaces of freedom.
