Co Down teenager Jonathon Lyness didn't let a little thing like the lack of snow put him off honing his prowess as a skier. Training on a dry slope he became so proficient he won two gold medals at the Special Olympics Ireland Winter Games and is hoping that he now may make the Irish team for the World Winter Games in South Korea next January and February.
