Problem with SQL server on Godaddy installing Vbulletin

I am installing vbulletin on a godaddy server and it doesn't seem to work, I have tried many different combinations of the config.php file and i'm stumped now. It usually works right through.

After everything was set up and ready to go, I went to the install.php file... it stopped at step 2

so lets just say my server is at something.something.godaddy.com
my username is eight333
and my password is helpmee

is this correct for the above information?
