Moving a db to a new host without SSH access
 

All I've got is PHPAdmin to pull this off.
I've read a bunch of the PHP restore stuff but for some reason my situation does not really follow the notes.
My phpadmin on the newer server does not have the SQL query window with the browse option for some reason so I've been using import and being sure to add drop table to the dump on the old server.

Its about a 300mb db.

So far I've dumped the db out & have been importing it in piece by piece when I have timeouts. It basically all appears to have gone in ok but I'm having a hard time importing in the phpbb_word table. Errors with quotes, special characters, etc. I've been trying different compatibility modes, formats with no luck so far.

I guess first my question before I keep going is...
Is this even going to work the way I'm doing this?
