Abdullatif al-Zayani, head of the GCC which groups the UAE with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, has said Ahmadinejad’s visit was “not in line with the GCC policy of maintaining good neighbourly relations with Iran.” afp
