"Calling" the content from a specific post ID
 

If I've got a custom page set up or for example a custom module on a portal page, how can I call/embed the post content from a specific post ID?

This is to be used for example if I've got an announcement or news thread on the forum which is often edited, and I want to embed the post content on a separate page.
