'Contingency plans for Bahrain axing'
Despite the Bahrain GP currently having the go-ahead, the teams are reportedly making plans should it be cancelled.

The Bahrain GP is under threat with protest groups such as The Coalition of the Youth of the 14 Feb Revolution and Bahrain Centre for Human Rights saying they will use race for demonstrations in their bid for democracy in the country.

But despite the threat, F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone is adamant that it is safe for Formula One to travel to the country.

"Of course the race is going to happen. No worries at all," Ecclestone recently Press Association Sport.

"What I don't understand are the negative statements being made, people catching them and continuing them. They're saying things they don't understand.

"People say to me 'There's not going to be a race.' And I say 'Well how do you know?' And they tell me they saw or read something, but it's all nonsense.

"These people (the Bahrainis) were brave enough to start an event in that part of the world, and that's it. We'll be there as long as they want us."

The teams, though, aren't as sure as Ecclestone that the grand prix will go ahead.

According to Auto Moto und Sport the majority of the pending is making contingency plans should the event be cancelled at the last minute.

The German publication claims that teams have already reserved tickets for their staff back to Europe from China, which takes place a week before Bahrain.

They have also made plans for the freight, including their cars, to be transported back to Europe via Dubai rather than head from Shanghai to Bahrain.

For now, though, the Bahrain GP is expected to take place as schedule

قالت مصادر لقناة العالم الاخبارية ان قوات النظام البحريني المدعومة بقوات الاحتلال السعودي قمعت اعتصامين سلميين اليوم الاحد في بلدتي ابو صيبع وتوبلي.
وهاجمت مرتزقة النظام الاعتصامين السلميين في بلدتي أبو صيبع وتوبلي تحت عنوان "بحريننا محتلة - فلتوقفوا سباقات الفورمولا1" واطلقت نيرانها على المشاركين.

وقد وجه ائتلاف شباب ثورة 14 فبراير في صفحته على الفيس بوك دعوة لكافة المصورين والإعلاميين لحضور هذه الاعتصامين وفاءً لزميلهم المصور الميداني الشهيد أحمد إسماعيل.

واعرب عن امله بالقيام بتغطية إعلامية واسعة للحدثين رفضاً لإقامة سباقات الفورمولا في البحرين المحتلة والتي تُسفك فيها دماء أبناء الشعب على يد عناصر المحتل السعودي والنظام الخليفي.

ويوم امس السبت حاصرت قوات النظام البحريني المدعومة سعوديا الطرق المؤدية الى بلدة دمستان لمنع المواطنين من دخولها بغية الحيلولة دون إحياء مراسم تأبين الشهيد حسن ماجد.

وكانت قوات النظام الخليفي المدعومة سعوديا قد هاجمت صفوف المشاركين في مراسم تشييع الشهيد أحمد اسماعيل حسن في مقبرة بلدة سلماباد ما اسفر عن سقوط عدد من الجرحى.

وكان الشهيد أحمد اسماعيل قد استشهد اثر اصابته بطلق ناري مباشر في ختام فاتحة الشهيد حسن ماجد بدمستان.
