منتدى استراحات زايد - Server spikes after attack but no Root access

I have no root access but today our server spiked cuz it seemed that a few disgruntled members from other msg boards logged in simutaneously... however, even after i locked off registrations my server CPU was high... I can't run the "EXTEND" command cuz i do not have root acess...

The mystery is that if i turn off the forum.. the CPU goes right down to 1.1 and hums... SOOO.... i assume that a rogue process remains from the original attack/influx of members... is there anything i can do to diagnose the problem... without root access or what can i tell our admin to do?
